There's so much to unpack in my adventurous lifestyle! I'm constantly doing an activity, whether it is thrifting, horseback riding, hiking, hunting, or hanging out with my animals! I have two bunnies named Charlie and Theodore, and I have one yellow lab named Lexi, and many more farm animals!

Furthermore, I grew up in hillsboro/vernonia area but i'm now located in West Linn, but don't get me wrong you will always find me out in vernonia where i belong :) My favorite color is red and I loveeeee dutch bros; I also participate in 4H but that's a whole new topic to discuss later!

I'm always up for everything and everything; every missed opportunity is the one that's not taken :)

My motive.

Throughout high school I was really into sports action photography. I was always seen at games and delivering quick galleries, I even was recognized for my work at state, regional, and national levels. However, I stopped doing sports photos going into junior year.

You may ask why I did that, but truthfully I did not like the fast paced action. I didn't enjoy having to get the gallery out as soon as I could and not getting recognized for my work at all.

This led to a lot of insecurities in my work and of myself. Then overtime I grew to love candid and portrait photos, I enjoyed taking them and getting to meet the people personally. I felt more in control, and I felt like I could make a difference to the people I work with. I wanted them to see their true beauty similar to how I found mine through this job. Which has also let me find my love for rodeo photography as well! Its something that brings the best out of me!

Similarly, that's why I say lets take an adventure, because whats life without it.

My credentials + experience

Vintage sketch of horses galloping in motion showing dynamic movement and energy.

I have been photographing for over three years now! I started out in journalism and I was a sports-action photographer, and it was really fun! My freshman year I won best-in-category (first place) for my sports photos in the whole Pacific Northwest high schools. As I continued to grow I won more awards and I eventually flew to Boston, Massachusetts to be awarded for one of the best portrait photographs in the nation!! It was a big time for me, I grew more comfortable with my camera and it led me to rodeos and to a more western side of photography.
